China Town

  • Chikarashi – Light and refreshing place for lunch – bowls can be adjusted to be gluten free

East Village/Lower East Side

  • Babu Ji – talented chef with great GF options: duck curry, hands downs, is one of the best things on the menu
  • Empellon Cocina – favorite dishes: guacamole with pistachios, sweet corn and goat tacos
  • Pala Pizza – gluten free appetizers, pizza, pastas and sides! Devoured the calamari!
  • The Smith (other locations as well) – love their cocktails, and most of the menu items can be made gluten free. Had the Saturday special paella which was super flavorful and had the right amount of spice.


Herald Square

Kips Bay

  • Penelope – grilled chicken club was the bomb!
  • Upland – fun cocktail list, adventurous wine list, & tasty dishes. Highly recommend the crispy duck wings, little gem salad, and grilled long island duck breast.

Lower East Side

  • Pizza Beach – I’m addicted to the pepperoni pizza


  • Egg Shop – the eggs sandwiches of a gf english muffin are a must
  • Rubirosa – hands down, the BEST gluten free pizza I’ve had in NYC. They also have gluten free mozzarella sticks
  • The Grey Dog – no hesitation when they tell you have sell gluten free French toast


  • The Breslin – LAMB BURGER all the way! (without the bun of course)


  • Chalk Point Kitchen – almost everything can be made gluten free on the menu which is amazing. Highly recommend the goat cheese appetizer and short ribs for dinner. My friend also raved about the chicken!
  • Delicatessen – Fries, fries, fries and Jalapeño Ginger Margarita!
  • Lure Fishbar – I have dreams about these scallops

Upper East Side

  • Flex Mussels – so many options to enjoy! favorite dish: COPENHAGEN
  • Hu Kitchen – no gluten, no problem!
  • Pizza Beach  – I’m addicted to the pepperoni pizza
  • Shake Shake – treat yo self – gluten free bun
  • Up Thai – favorite dish: chicken pad thai / favorite drink: mango mojito

West Village

  • by CHLOE – quinoa taco salad GF with sweet potato fries and beet ketchup
  • Rosemary’s – This place has their own garden on the roof, and I could eat cheese and drink their wine all day.
