Dee Dee’s Top Picks: June 2015

Garden Goddess Natural Facial Sunblock: I was so excited to receive an exclusive sample of WholeFood’s “Ready For Action” bag. Made with active shoppers in mind, this bag is filled with amazing supplements, protein powders, superfoods, sunscreens, etc. My favorite was the Garden Goddess Facial Sunblock!IMG_5972Paleonola, Maple Pancake: If the title of this product doesn’t make you want to eat a whole bag, then I don’t what else to tell you.

Coffee from Cartel: Whenever I’m traveling – for fun or work – I always try to visit the local spots. When I was in Phoenix in June, my colleague and I went out to grab coffee one morning. All I had to type into Google was “local coffee shop” and Cartel popped up. First off, the staff in the shop was so nice, very welcoming – wish we could have hung out longer! The coffee was delicious and it was really cool to read about how it’s made. Lastly, they had a gluten free muffin in the case – of course my eyes filled up with happiness. I had to get it and it was delicious.

Dance Moms comes to Mass: Yes, I’m obsessed with the show Dance Moms. This month, JoJo and Jessalynn (JoJo’s Mom) came to Massachusetts and taught a class to some young dancers. I took my little cousin….but lets be honest, I was as excited as she was!

Bob’s Red Mill Organic Quinoa Flour: I started experimenting with this flour this month, and I love it! I ended up pulling together a new donut recipe, Quinoa and Almond Flour Blueberry Donuts.

Charming Charlie: I had never been to a Charming Charlie store before, but I can now say I’m officially obsessed. The whole store is color coordinated – it’s perfect for the organized style nerd like me. It also is very reasonable in term of prices – the pink dress below was only $30.

Breathe In. Breathe Out. (2015): Last but not least, Hilary Duff is back my friends! There are two songs off her new album that I can’t stop listening to at the gym: Sparks and My Kind.

Have a wonderful, wonderful, July friends!
