You know that feeling when you leave the gym or a class and you say to yourself, “Wow, that was an awesome workout, I feel great..?” So maybe those aren’t the exact words coming out of your mouth after every workout, but you should be leaving the gym feeling at least a little accomplished.
For my readers out there that workout on a regular basis, you know what I’m talking about. You know the feeling when you had an awesome, bone chilling workout, and you sweat out all of the stress from that day or the day before. It might sound funny – but I look forward to this emotion. I look forward to the “after workout” feeling when my mind is clear, but focused, and your body is strong.
Since I’ve been recovering from shoulder surgery over the past few months, I thought it was about time I got back on the bike. I love taking spinning classes. It’s not for everyone, which it totally fine, you want to try to find your rhythm. I love to take all types of classes such as spinning, body pump, kick boxing, strength training, etc., but also love to go for a hike or run outside.
A very good friend of mine just starting teaching spinning at a place in Danvers, MA called Kiki Pilates Studio. They recently started offering spinning classes, and I think that’s a really smart move. I might be a little biased because she’s one of my best friends 🙂 – but Tori is amazing! She pumps you up!! It’s not easy to get into a workout routine; even if you are working out on a regular basis, sometimes you just aren’t “feeling” your workouts, and that’s when you need to make a decision. Either you switch it up and try something new, or….well, only you know how you feel.
