This recipe only takes 10 minutes to prepare, 20 minutes to cool, and it will be gone in a flash (I’m already eating it as I type). There are hundreds of different ingredients and combinations that can be made to create your favorite party mix: you could add M&M’s, Peanut M&M’s, walnuts, dark chocolate chips, cranberries, flax seed, peanuts, etc. You also can make your party mix a little more savory using ingredients such as salt, pepper, garlic pepper, onion powder, worcestershire sauce, flavored chips, etc. But today, it is all about our sweet tooth.
4 Ingredient Party Chex Mix Recipe
- 1 box of Gluten Free Corn Chex Mix
- 1 bag of Glutino Pretzel Twists
- 1 bag of HERSHEY’S Premier White Chips
- 1 cup of dried cranberries
Melt the white chocolate chips either in a double boiler on the stove or in the microwave. If using the microwave, put in for 1 minute 30 seconds then take out, stir and pop back in for about another minute.
While the chocolate is melting, pour the Chex Mix and pretzels into a large bowl or pan.
Pour the melted white chocolate over the mixture and stir with a spatula.
Right at the end, add the dried cranberries.
Cover the pan and let the mixture dry out – should take about 20 minutes. You could also take a small tablespoon and spoon out the mix into small bundles and it will dry in that form. Really cute for a dessert display.
This mix also makes a great gift – fill up a small bag or mason jar – if you don’t eat it all first 🙂
