Them apples keeping rolling….into my Fall recipes! This one goes out to my mom, who practically created this recipe for me. We bought our apples at a local farm stand called Russell Farms. It’s always great when you can support the local farms.

Fall Honey Apple Crisp – makes about 10-12 servings

10-12 apples peeled and chopped into small chunks
3 tablespoons of cinnamon
4 tablespoons honey – I used Pure Vermont Honey from Cold Hollow Cider Mill

1.5 cups almond flour
1.5 cups gluten free or regular oats
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 cup honey
6 tablespoons melted butter

Peel and chop the apples, then place into a large bowl.



Add in cinnamon and honey.



Spoon your apple mixture into a tin foil or cake pan.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Start your topping

Combine oats (gluten free or regular), cinnamon, almond flour, melted butter and honey.


Slowly spoon your topping onto the apples. Use spatula to even out over mixture so it cooks evenly.


Cook for about 30 minutes. Be careful when it’s first done as it will be hot, but the best time to eat it is when it’s warm! Don’t forget to top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
