I had the pleasure this month of joining my co-workers in Miami for BlogHer Food on behalf of one of our clients. Not only was I excited about traveling with my co-workers but I was about to be in the center of food brands galore! As a foodie myself, I couldn’t help but check out what the other brands were doing and see what new products or programs they were coming out with.

But the best part about the trip, was taking advantage of the food and restaurant scene in Miami. Doesn’t matter what section of the country I’m in, I always ask the same question – what’s the food scene like? Yah I may have celiac, but that doesn’t stop me from trying all of the different types of food. Luckily my co-workers have the same thoughts when it comes to food 🙂

Three highlights of the trip included Catch Miami by Top Chef winner, Executive Chef Hung Huynh, Bread and Butter by Chef Albert Cabrera, and Scarpetta by Scott Conant and Nina Compton.

I loved all three places, but out of the three, my favorite had to be Bread and Butter – the steak I had was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was simple and sweet.

On the last night of the event I was able to meet one of my culinary role models – Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman!
