Dinner reservations this weekend took us to Somerville, MA! And Foundry On Elm, we are so glad we found you! Located in Davis Square, Foundry On Elm is a great spot to meet friends for dinner and drinks. Not to mention, once you are done with dinner, there are dozens of other bars to grab drinks at. For example, The Painted Burro is one of my favorite spots – if you’ve ever had one of their margaritas or a plate of nachos you know that I’m talking about.
Anyways – Foundry On Elm had a great drink and wine list. Not to get ahead of myself, I started with the red house sangria. It was delicious but also had an interesting kick to it. Not sure what it was, but yes I’d order it again!
For the table, we started with few orders of Truffle French Fries.
I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to order – everything on the menu sounded delicious, and most of the options were already gluten free, so I had different items to choose from! I finally decided on the Steak Frites, which was out of this world. Really delicious and the meat was cooked to perfection. Next time though, I think I might try the salmon or mussels – those looked amazing too.
Thanks again Foundry on Elm – cant wait to stop by for brunch someday!
