It seems that most of the time people know what they want to make for their main dish – chicken, steak, fish, meatloaf, chicken wings, etc – but then they are lost on what to make for sides. Well myself, and Mamma Mooney are here to help!
Let me introduce to you to the simple sides recipe series. Some of these are recipes you’ve seen before or maybe already know how to make yourself, but I’ll also be introducing some new recipes to help you spice up your meals. The first in the series involves one of my favorite vegetables – brussels sprouts!
Salt and Pepper Brussels Sprouts – makes about 3 servings
- 1 bag of Brussels sprouts
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 cloves of garlic – crushed
- 1-2 tablespoon salt
- 1-2 tablespoon pepper
Clean your brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Mix around with a spoon to make sure all of the brussels sprouts are covered.
Pop in the oven for 30 minutes on 350.
