I refuse to take no for an answer from Mother Nature this season. Ever since I bought my first pair of snowshoes, I’ve been dying to get outside. Even though Mother Nature didn’t bring us a lot of snow this past weekend, I was determined to get outside! And that’s just what we did.

We found ourselves in Andover, MA and decided to head to Harold Parker State Forest.

Shelby can’t handle herself – she absolutely loves the snow.

Here’s a little secret: we actually went to where the campsite is. The campsite is closed in the winter, so we were able to snowshoe freely in the streets. Peace and quiet!

As you are nearing the end, there is a side path to take you to Field Pond. Cold as the wind hit our faces, but totally worth it.

Overall, a great day with Dad and Shelby.
