Another fantastic year, another birthday celebration. This past weekend we celebrated my Grammie’s 93rd birthday! I wanted to make a non-traditional cupcake and the Hummingbird recipe sounded perfect. Thanks to my good friend Martha Stewart, I found the perfect Hummingbird recipe filled with all of my favorite ingredients. Plus I got new cooking utensils for Christmas that I wanted to try out!
I love pineapple and bananas. They are such great ingredients to bake with.
Coconut, pineapple, banana and walnuts all mixed together. I could just eat this.
Cupcakes when they come out of the oven. Make sure you watch your cupcakes when they are in the oven because every oven is different and it may cook faster than what’s suggested in the recipe.
